Today...
I think we get Kobi's car back.
I totally hope.
I can't take it any more...
Her car was wrecked at the end of September.
There was mucho underneath damage.
Hers was in the shop getting fixed about the same time mine was...
Well, she can't drive a rental...
So she gets to drive my car...
*sigh*
NOT FAIR....
I had to drive this most of the time...
A little hatch back...
UGH.
ANYWHO....
We got Kobi's car back....
It still had issues so we took it back in...
They "fixed" it....

I stayed calm.
I really did....
And they told me they appreciated my patience...
Each of the 5 times I took it back.
Last Friday, I turned in the rental and picked up her car...
They SWORE they had it right this time...
Kobi took off in her car to go babysit and I get the call...
MOM! My "sailboat light" is on....
(that is what she calls her light that shows it is overheating)
I went and gave her my car...
Brought hers back home.
I then called the dealership that is responsible/over for the
body shop that was "fixing" her car.
2 Entities that have "same name" but really work seperately.
I asked for the highest level of management that was present at the time
to be put on the phone.
I got the GM
My first words were...
I am sorry for the ass chewing your are about to receive...
I know you know nothing of this situation
AND
you are not the cause of this situation...
you are not the cause of this situation...
BUT
and then I let him have it.
It felt GOOD too!
The next morning...
I was not driving a rental...
I was driving this...
A brand new 2012 right off the lot.
I know this is going to make me sound like a total hick...
But did you know they don't use keys anymore?
Just a remote.
And a push button.
It has been an adjustment.
It is nice...
BUT
I want my car back.
The Hubs asked last night if I was ready for a new car now...
I told him no. I LOVE my car.
Kobi is having a hard time giving my car up...
She'll get over it...
It's mine...
I wonder if she has figured out that the GPS system is only on her car...
AND we have not been able to GPS her these last few weeks....
LOL
You know the funny thing is....
Even though this has been a pain in the patootie...
I would still take my car back to the same place to get it fix.
CRAZY I know...

OMG. What are they? Stupid? So what did the GM say? When can you expect it back and to be fixed correctly? That is just crazy.
I'm kind of digging the idea of a keyless drive. I like the button option. High Tech. I missed out on that by one year with my 09. =(
I would be PISSED! Keyless drive might would freak me out...a bit...but I'm not saying that I couldn't get used to it :)
I'm not a morning person either!! And my car is a 2011 that had a speaker rattle earlier this year. I spent 6 months getting the darn thing fixed... I drove 5 different cars. I'm like you I wanted MY car back! I like my car too :) So I know your pain!
