Our Fall weather finally arrived! 

Now if it will just stay.

This front followed me into work. It was 74 degrees at 7:15 when I got to work yesterday.

By 7:30, it was in the 50's.

AWKWARD MOMENT 1257

Last night Kobi fell asleep directly after dinner.

When I was getting ready for bed,

I realized she didn't take her evening meds.

SO, like a good MOM....

I take them in to her.

Now, this happens all the time.

I usually just pop them in her mouth and she swallows them in her sleep.

Not happening....

As I tried to gently cram the pills down her throat....

She wakes up.

Sets straight up in bed.

Starts trembling.

Eyes WIDE open

Begins to ask in a full blown panic attack....

"Who are you?"

This is the basic run down:

Kobi: (Again) Who are you?

 Me: Seriously? Did you really just ask me that?

Kobi: *blank stare while tilting head and looking at me*

Me: Kobi?

Kobi: Yes?

Me: You need to take your pills.

Kobi: Who are you? (she is about to cry here...)

Me: Kobi (insert giggles n snorts here) It's me.... your MOTHER

Kobi: OH....

Me: Look it even says "MOM" on my shirt....

Kobi: (Tilting her head again to look at me)

Me: Can you take your pills so I can go to bed?

Kobi: Oh, ok Mom....

Me: What kind of drugs are you on or did you go drinking tonight? (kidding around of course)

Kobi: Well I don't know you are the one that just drugged me....

Me: Go back to sleep

She then lays back down and is totally out.

This morning I asked her if she remembered last night....

Of course I had to poke fun at her shen she said no....

• My hair is in serious need of a cut and root touch up....

• I have been in this office for 6 months at least and my walls are still totally bare....

• I plan on staying in my pj's this weekend.... all weekend long....
• I am not a total "religious nut" but please send sweet prayers to blogger friend Mimi - Who very much needs support while her family is healing.

So seriously....

I have nothing for the blog.

OK...

So I do...

But it is just a bunch of random little bits of crap.

Fall break was last week.

Kobi's job took advantage of her and worked her 9 hours one day and 11 the next.

Poor kid had to be to work by 6:30am each day.

Poor Momma had to wake up and make sure she was up.

We did get to sneak off and go watch her BF play some football.

Why do his games have to be so far away...

Like 2 hour drives? 

He kicked his second 49 yard field goal this year....

No... his hair isn't normally like that...

Just saying....

It's a "team" thing all the guys from his team somehow bleach or whatever...

Kobi is just ready for it to be grown out and gone....  LOL

I have been blog stalking surfing this morning....

Sara Kate (BTW-you should check out her awesomeness)

She brought up what was on her boob tube....

Then started questioning why it was called a boob tube.

then... because I should be working....

I got to wondering also.

google it

They call it a boob tube because idiots were also known as "boobs".

It was thought that if your stared at the TV or "tube" for to long...

you would become an idiot.

Thus the phrase, Boob Tube.

They may be on to something.

Side note: If you want a picture of a "boob tube" ...

This weekend was OU -Texas.

Lunch consisted of Beevo Burgers with a side of crow for a few of my Texas fans to get choked on.....

Nuttin' Much

This has got to be be most boring random post ever....

Just sayin'.

It's just how my week is going...

This should prove it....

It's my breakfast this morning.

It's all I could find once I got to work.

We have been working on our house....

Doing a little updating.

It's only 6 years old, but some things just gotta be done.

We spent a few weekends painting the trim.

This past weekend.

We decided to blow more insulation into the attic

and

garage walls also.

This is basically what was waiting on me when I crawled out of bed Saturday morning.

Fun Times.

The Hub's legs....8 hours and 50+ bags later...

I was not feeling it.

I stayed up way past my bed time on Friday.

I was a good Mom.

I took Kobi to her boyfriend's away football game.

It was almost a 2 hour drive....

Off in a direction she normally doesn't drive.

We were almost in Texas!

I didn't know we had anything but flat lands in Oklahoma.

I gotta get out more....

I had the chance to meet his parents FINALLY.

They live 1.5 hours away....

It's odd, but it works for the kids....

Kobi's BF didn't know we were coming to the game.

His Mom did... But Kobi wanted to surprise him...

The look on his face after the game was totally priceless.

AWESOME STUFF.

The boy definitely has a future in kicking.

Don't know if the video will work...

But I tried.

It's actually the sucky video....

But it's the only one that would load.....

This one is a field goal after a TD.

It's his kick off's that are just incredible.

My baby is almost done.

I can NOT WAIT to see what they turn out like.

I found the most awesome spot to do the pics....

Cost me a small fee and liability waiver....

but hey

She is worth it...

I think.

The old house is not to far from our hood....

It's been standing since before the land run.

It provided an amazing amount of photo ops.

I am so sad I have to wait like 4 weeks to get my grubby paws on the actual CD of the pics....

Had the most amazing sunset.... I couldn't get the dang camera to capture the actual shades of blue and pink. MEH....

My little ol' man has been such a cuddle bug lately. Makes it so hard to get out of bed in the mornings.

You are acting like a spoiled rotten brat.

Get over yourself.

You did wrong.

Apologize and move on.

There are rules at school

and

in life.

Follow them, or suffer the consequences.

Long story short.....

She turned in her Valedictorian speech last year for approval.

BUT
when she gave her speech

she opted for the word HELL instead of HECK

No, not really a big deal.

She knew it was wrong

OR

She would have submitted the actual wording for approval.

Most High Schools do hold actual diplomas until after graduation.

To ensure proper and adult-like behavior.

With her 4.0 GPA, one would think she would be smart enough to realize, that breaking school rules would result in punishment.

Why wait ALL Summer long to go pick up your diploma....

You knew what you did was wrong...

Did you think they would forget?

At least half the teenagers today think they are above punishment and can do what they want and they will have no consequences.....

I hope the school officials stick to their guns and refuse to hand over the goods, until she follows through and shows respect for the rules.

PS: If you are so 4.0 couldn't you come up with your own words instead of quoting the movie twilight?
